Our 2nd upcoming baby – Audrey will be temporarily sharing a nursery room with her big brother Raymond. In our culture – baby sleep with the mother for a couple of years and that’s how I get used to it.
Sooner I will be sleeping with two kids however we will make sure Raymond will be become more independent to sleep alone on top of the bunk bed specially that he is now a big brother. So I could also sleep below the bunk bed alone comfortably and slowly train my self as well to sleep on the master bedroom away from my kids so they could learn to be more independent.
The kid’s bedroom is the most organized in our entire house so far, next to organize is our master bedroom closet which kind of a mess for right now! 😉

On the right side of the kid’s bedroom is Raymond’s bed, closet/dresser and big shelf for his random stuff, which I will not be detailing in this post since I want to focus mainly on baby’s nursery and organization.

Left side of the room is the Baby’s Nursery. Furniture are mostly from Ikea – White Crib and the Diaper Changing Table and Dresser in one placed next to each other to maximize bedroom space. And a Reclining Chair from Living Spaces to rock the baby in my arms.
I like this top of the baby’s dresser that folds open and close as a changing diaper station, so later when the baby grows up this can be used still as her dresser. And then I placed a baby accessory holder (from Walmart) on the side of the crib for easy reach.

Now the fun part is organizing baby’s dresser. I love this Ikea Storage dividers which allow me to organize baby’s many random stuff like bibs, socks, mittens, accessories specially if you are having a baby girl with many accessories like headbands, etc!
In this particular storage – I used Ikea Nanig Box, I also like putting on labels on it so it is easy for my husband to pick things up for the baby!

Next drawer, I used a Svira Box storage dividers again from Ikea and put label on it for Newborn Onesies, 0-3 months, etc.
Bottom drawer still with the Ikea Svira divider and label for Overall/Nighties, and others like bath accessories, toys, etc. My hubby will not be confused where he will get baby’s stuff! Easy pissy!

I find baby’s room organization and decoration fun and exciting!
And there’s me at 38 weeks – Getting tired but happy! 🙂
How did you do the little pink labels? I’m so clueless- help!

Hi Deanna, I just wrote a label on a sticky note or any piece of paper will do, then cut it and put a scotch tape on top.
